BullhornRemote NOAM - Massachusetts, MA
$92,002 - $115,000

About The Position

The Project Manager is a key position within Professional Services and the PMO and acts with integrity and leads by example, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the customer engagement lifecycle. This role is accountable for ensuring the right resources, governance, and methodologies are in place to enable successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex core SaaS system implementations for our clients, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, on budget, and with high CSAT scores. In this capacity, the Project Manager partners closely with Customers, Sales Executives, Solution Consultants, Solution Architects, and Software Engineers to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and deliverables align with defined success criteria. By applying project management best practices and adhering to Bullhorn’s PMO processes, the Senior Project Manager defines, drives, and manages the delivery of projects, managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations to ensure an exceptional customer experience from project initiation through closure.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive experience managing complex, external client-facing software implementation projects, with a significant focus on ERP, HCM, CRM, or large-scale SaaS solutions with billable utilization targets.
  • A proven track record of successfully delivering projects that have a high level of complexity and ambiguity, demonstrating the ability to rapidly impose structure and governance.
  • An expertise in defining and managing project scope, schedules, and budgets for large enterprise clients.
  • A mastery of various project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Scrum, Hybrid) and knowing when to apply each to achieve stability.
  • A solid understanding of the end-to-end implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, configuration, data migration, integration, testing (UAT), and go-live.
  • Have a proficiency with modern project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, SmartSheet) and resource management systems.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of multiple, concurrent, large-scale client software implementation projects, establishing the necessary governance and structure where none exists.
  • Quickly assess and gain command over complex, ambiguous, and high-risk projects, translating chaos into defined, manageable, and executable project plans.
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for project status and success. Naturally take ownership of problems and aggressively drive solutions to resolution.
  • Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and issues. Firmly manage scope creep and hold both internal and client stakeholders accountable to agreed-upon project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage client and vendor relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for project status, expectations, and issue resolution with executive and C-level stakeholders.
  • Oversee project budgets, tracking hours and expenses to ensure financial targets are met and providing accurate, predictable and insightful forecasting and reporting.
  • Apply project management best practices and actively contribute to the development, improvement and standardization of Bullhorn's PMO processes.
  • Mentoring and provide guidance to junior project managers or implementation specialists on best practices and project governance.
