Requirements

Good written and verbal communication skills

Strong purchasing and negotiation skills
Ability to multi-task
Knowledge of a variety of manufacturing materials and processes
Mechanical aptitude
Good critical thinking skills
Meticulous, with good analytical and numeric skills
Good computer skills (MS Office)
Ability to read and visualize engineering drawings.
College degree (preferably in business)
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

Nice To Haves

Experience as a Purchasing Agent or Project Manager in the POP industry (2-3 years preferred)

Responsibilities

Coordinate the execution and production of Point of Purchase Displays.
Interact with account executives, engineering, estimating and outside resources.
Purchase all materials relative to the assigned project.
Collaborate with all production personnel to ensure an efficient process from start to finish.
Interact with account executives to ensure goods are produced to the customer expectations.
Work closely with Design Engineering and Estimating throughout the development process.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
