About The Position

The Project Manager will work with multi-disciplinary teams overseeing project staff and sub-contractors, providing guidance to ensure each project meets operational standards. This includes developing a detailed scope of work, budget and schedule, conducting risk management assessments and maintaining health, safety and environmental compliance.

Requirements

  • PMP certification required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of intermediate to senior-level project management experience.
  • Experience managing complex capital or industrial projects in mining, energy, infrastructure, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage project stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, SAP, or similar project management and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans including scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Review and approve engineering designs to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, rights-holders, contractors, and vendors to ensure efficient and respectful project delivery.
  • Monitor progress, quality, and materials used to maintain project standards.
  • Conduct risk management assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage and allocate resources including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance in all project phases.
  • Prepare reports, forecasts, and progress updates for stakeholders.
  • Conduct project evaluations and capture lessons learned to improve future performance.
