PCI is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its PCI Knoxville 144 operations based in Knoxville, TN. This individual will be responsible for actively participating in safety plans and measures, understanding and following PCI guidelines related to the corporate safety program, and proactively creating/managing punch lists. They will also be accountable for Quality Control measures, preparing RFI’s, submittals, and shop drawings, and possessing a clear understanding of building systems and their relation to the building process. The role involves navigating and coordinating activities to maximize productivity and efficiency, performing quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, ordering materials, and pricing change orders. Additionally, the Project Manager will create and implement job schedules, coordinate with field supervisors and foremen, and effectively communicate issues to negotiate the optimal position for the trade in the work sequence. They will perform labor control on assigned projects, coordinate warranties and O&M’s, assist in selecting vendors, and coordinate materials and equipment. The role also includes assisting in the buyout of subcontractors, issuing contracts, and proactively sequencing and managing subcontractor work, including billings and change orders. The Project Manager will be accountable for job cost control measures through monthly Financial Analysis Worksheets (FAW’s) and will support the branch through positive customer relations and active participation in the Customer Alignment Plan. This position is safety-sensitive.
