Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services Project Manager to support the Cincinnati, OH area. The Environmental Services Project Manager serves as a technical expert and trusted partner to site leadership, providing hands-on guidance in infection prevention standards, regulatory compliance, workflow optimization, and best practice implementation.

Requirements

  • Foundational knowledge of environmental science, environmental health, sustainability, or a related technical field.
  • Awareness of environmental regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and work within defined frameworks.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and basic data management tools
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience - 3 yearsMinimum Functional Experience - 3 years

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day‑to‑day activities for assigned environmental service projects or project sub‑components, ensuring alignment with established scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Assist in implementing project plans, including task scheduling, resource coordination, and documentation.
  • Monitor project progress and support the preparation of status updates, reports, and metrics for internal stakeholders.
  • Identify potential risks or issues affecting project delivery and escalate them appropriately.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental best practices.
  • Support data collection, field activities, inspections, or sampling efforts as required by the project.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including logs, permits, documentation, and quality assurance materials.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as operations, safety, compliance, and facilities to support project execution.
  • Provide general administrative and technical support to senior project managers and environmental specialists.
