This role will be onsite, based in Cincinnati, OH. The Project Manager will collaborate with others to connect, implement, and evaluate project plans organization-wide. They will identify, develop, and implement new methods, processes, and systems to improve and facilitate the team's work. This includes improving data quality and usability, streamlining reporting processes, and enhancing reporting deliverables. The Project Manager will also identify and recommend procedures to enhance or maintain a high level of effectiveness in projects, monitor and document project-related information with functional leads, and assist in defining measurements and outcomes. They may assist with facilitating teams assigned to the project and directly managing project management resources, as well as coaching and mentoring project team members. The role requires understanding and performing the role of Supervisor as appropriate. The Project Manager will engage clients and stakeholders, negotiate project scope, and communicate with clients throughout the project. They will identify necessary resources (information, expertise, personnel, instruments) and problem-solve gaps. The role involves leading project teams, directing the work of others, and assuming final responsibility for project outcomes. Additionally, the Project Manager will conduct and support complex qualitative and quantitative analysis of project data, summarize findings, draw conclusions, and communicate results effectively. They will manage and direct regulatory/reporting activities related to projects, such as IRB and updates/reports to funding agencies. Communication and relationship management with key project stakeholders is crucial, including composing, editing, and delivering written and verbal communications, facilitating small group discussions, and keeping team members informed. The role also involves strategizing with project, program, and department leadership to develop plans that advance objectives, fostering critical thinking on key issues and opportunities, establishing and prioritizing goals with the team, and recommending necessary infrastructure for project and process execution. This position may have direct reports and will manage a large volume and/or complexity of projects, defined by project expenses per year and the number of stakeholders.
