About The Position

Amyx is seeking a Project Manager to support Financial Systems Infrastructure, Operations and Maintenance at the Department of Homeland Security. The position requires DHS suitability clearance and involves IT-related project work, financial management, or business process reengineering. The role calls for leadership, communication, adaptability, and the ability to discuss technical issues with non-technical, executive-level government stakeholders.

The employee must be able to work at a workstation and use a desktop or laptop for extended periods to review and analyze information and prepare written recommendations, summaries, or reports. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in management, business, engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Four years of experience in IT-related projects, financial management, or business process reengineering directly related to the work to be performed.
• Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidance.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Active listening and verbal communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable attitude; ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including other divisions.
• Strong computer skills in MS Suite, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and Windows/Linux servers.
• Ability to discuss technical issues with non-technical, executive-level government stakeholders.
• DHS suitability clearance.

• Familiarity with financial system technology platforms.
• Knowledge of ICE OCIO IT policies, procedures, and business processes.
• Knowledge of DHS/ICE technology and architecture.
• Experience within DHS and/or its components.
