About The Position

As the newest Project Manager in Wildstone's Whitehorse, YT location, you’ll take full ownership of ICI projects from award through to closeout; leading the team, managing the budget, and making the calls that keep things moving. This is a role for someone who has put in the work in project coordination and project delivery, gained the experience, and is ready for an opportunity that gives you more ownership and impact. You’ll manage projects in some of the most remote and challenging locations in western and northern Canada. That means you need to be sharp, adaptable, and confident navigating changing priorities and solving problems as they come up. In return, you’ll have the autonomy and support to grow in your role. Requirements

2–5 years of experience in ICI construction.
Time in a Junior PM or PM role where you supported project delivery from start to finish.
EIT or P.Eng. designation in Civil Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
Working knowledge of project financials — job costing, change order management, and trending over budget.
Confidence with Procore or similar project management platforms.
Ability to pick up new tools quickly.
Strong communication skills.
Judgment to know when to escalate and when to handle it yourself.

Responsibilities

Take full ownership of ICI projects from award through to closeout.
Lead the team.
Manage the budget.
Make the calls that keep things moving.
Manage projects in remote and challenging locations.
Navigate changing priorities and solve problems.
Own projects end-to-end — schedule, budget, billing and trade partner and client relationship.
Build strong working relationships with trade partners, site crews, and clients.
Ensure projects are on schedule and on budget, and have a plan when they are not.
Lead your team with clear direction, play to individual strengths, and bring Project Coordinators up.
Follow and improve company processes.
