About The Position

The DH Pace Company is a family-owned and privately held business with annual sales over $1 billion through 60+ offices located across the continental United States. The Company is an industry leader in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of a complete range of commercial, industrial, and door, docking and security products. In 2026, DH Pace is celebrating its 100th anniversary in business. DH Pace Company, Inc. aspires to hire a Project Manager in our Olathe, Kansas office. You will ensure project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities.

Requirements

  • Construction Management Degree or 6 months experience in a construction related role or project management experience preferred.
  • Candidates with high attention to detail and a drive to succeed are welcomed!
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, customer relations, and problem-solving skills
  • Successful completion of references, employment verifications, background check, drug screen, and driving record (if applicable) required in advance of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP (IFS) or Procore systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Review project plans and specifications to determine materials needed, ordering materials, installer requirements, and working with outside vendors to coordinate schedules.
  • Responsible for financial success of projects within budget and timeframe.
  • Discuss and present product recommendations and solutions to customers for job specific requirements.
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Monitor submittments, track job materials, and coordinate deliveries.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
