About The Position

This is an opportunity to bring structure, momentum, and clear thinking to projects that genuinely shape the university experience, for researchers, and professional staff alike. Sitting within the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Enterprise), you'll lead end-to-end delivery of key projects that drive the University’s research and enterprise priorities from initiation through to evaluation.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience delivering medium-to-large projects in a complex, matrixed organisation
  • Strong command of project management methodologies.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels without direct authority
  • Experience working within or alongside a university, government, or large public sector environment
  • Sharp written communication skills, particularly for governance and executive audiences
  • Tertiary qualification in project management, business, or a related discipline

Responsibilities

  • Managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and risks across concurrent workstreams
  • Coordinating cross-functional stakeholders across academic and professional services teams
  • Preparing governance documentation, status reporting, and executive briefings
  • Identifying delivery blockers early and driving timely resolution
