Project Manager - Water Division
About The Position
The Walsh Group is seeking a Project Manager for its water division in Leesburg, Virginia. The role leads project teams and oversees project controls, personnel, client relationships, contractual matters, cost forecasting, quality, and safety. Project Managers organize and initiate work while adapting plans as needed, building lasting infrastructure and relationships, developing team members, and remaining accountable for profitability and business outcomes. The position encompasses project startup through completion and closeout, and may require relocation for specific roles.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience.
- Experience managing construction teams.
- Success in client relationships.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for project controls, including costs, planning, scheduling, engineering, supervision, and personnel management.
- Manage project startup, completion, and the entire closeout process.
- Develop strategies for personnel development and recruiting.
- Manage contractual issues.
- Establish and maintain customer relationships.
- Accurately forecast costs for job completion.
- Provide leadership and development to the project team.
- Make final decisions on problem resolution.
- Develop and oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans.
- Identify issues and escalate them to the Program Manager as needed to ensure project success.
- Review and approve preliminary schedules, financial projections, and cost-to-complete estimates.
- Ensure construction site rules and procedures are implemented and followed.
- Coordinate with the Safety Manager to ensure projects meet safety goals.
