About The Position

ElitAire is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Columbus, OH, who excels at managing and inspiring people, thrives on continuous improvement, and seeks a collaborative environment. In this role, you will provide application support for internal and external customers using equipment selection and application knowledge. You will manage day-to-day project activities for executed orders, coordinate start-up, warranty, and troubleshooting support with service teams and technicians, and provide technical support. You will also develop proposals and pricing estimates, apply HVAC airside and waterside knowledge to support equipment selection and application, and understand multiple technologies across manufacturer equipment lines. Creating equipment selections using manufacturer software and resources, supporting Account Managers and customers with proper equipment selection and application, and developing scopes and proposals with itemized project costs are key responsibilities. You will also document selection criteria, maintain project files, and assist Account Managers with customer-specific marketing strategies. Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, providing project updates and clear communication throughout the lifecycle, and conducting site visits as needed are also part of the role. Travel is estimated at 10%–25%.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in project management, construction management or Industrial; preferred. Equivalent years of experience will also be considered.
• Site visits; required (travel is estimated to be between 10%-25%)
• Proficiency in computer applications and operating systems including Windows, Word, and Excel.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make independent decisions.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of responding effectively to customer needs.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC Project Management; preferred.
• Familiarity with Computer Aided Drafting software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) is a plus.

Responsibilities
