About The Position

This is a remote opportunity for a 1099 Contractor / Consultant role offering a flexible schedule with an estimated level of effort is 35 hours per semester, 5 semester per year for a total of 175 hours per calendar year. Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the United States permanently without sponsorship.
  • Master's degree in political science, history, public policy, law, organizational leadership, management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience supporting contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • Must have prior active duty or reserve service in the U.S. Marine Corps or U.S. Navy.
  • Demonstrated experience managing Department of Defense programs and coordinating with senior Government leadership.
  • Authorized to act on behalf of the Contractor on all contract matters and available during normal Government business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Contractor's primary point of contact and be responsible for the overall management, coordination, staffing, and successful execution of the contract.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with all contract requirements, manage quality control, coordinate directly with the Government, submit required reports, and ensure all performance objectives are achieved.
  • Lead overall contract performance and serve as the Contractor's primary Government liaison.
  • Meet regularly with the COR to discuss project status and contract performance.
  • Develop and maintain the Project Management Plan and milestone schedule.
  • Coordinate instructor staffing, personnel updates, and resume submissions for task orders.
  • Prepare progress and financial reports following each academic term.
  • Monitor contract deliverables, schedules, risks, and corrective actions to ensure successful execution.
  • Communicate project updates, staffing changes, and performance information with Government stakeholders.
