About The Position

The purpose of the Project Manager is to manage the fulfilment of equipment and system orders placed in North America, from receipt of order to customer site acceptance test. This includes partnering with peers in sales, operations, engineering, and service to deliver equipment that meets customer needs on time and within budget. The Project Manager will create and maintain all project management artifacts and communicate directly with customers. This role necessitates a combination of project methodology expertise, leadership acumen, and business insight to ensure the successful execution of project objectives.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required (engineering or other technical degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or engineering
  • Demonstrated leadership and collaboration with stakeholders
  • Able to understand bid specifications, test reports, and other technical documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex programs / projects simultaneously.
  • Detail oriented; leverages KPIs and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Sense of urgency; has a bias for action.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to communicate to all levels within the company and achieve alignment between groups with different priorities.
  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Planner.

Nice To Haves

  • PMI/PMP certification is a plus.
  • Technical certifications in the following areas are a plus: Microsoft O365, SharePoint, Power Automate, PowerApps, Power BI, D365 CE, D365 ERP, etc.
  • Experience with packaging, automation, or industrial products is a plus.
  • ERP, PDM/PLM, solid modeling, and / or PLC programming familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Clarify project scope, goals, budget, and deliverables for customer equipment orders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive equipment deliveries on time and within the project budget
  • Create project documents such as structured customer updates, change orders, budget reviews, and update presentations.
  • Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and transparent fashion
  • Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Identify and troubleshoot problem areas to minimize delays and unplanned events.
  • Conduct project retrospectives and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
  • Facilitate and maintain project management tools enabling KPI tracking and a consolidated view of all Roselle equipment projects
