About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Project Manager for a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite, with a Global Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. The role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering defined deliverables, which involves engagement from multiple teams. The Project Manager will communicate work objectives, coordinate delivery, manage risks, ensure compliance to standards, and provide end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. This position ensures execution and delivery meet expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of End-to-End Project/Change Management experience
  • Release and change manager experience
  • Good Project Management Skills, ability to lead a team and drive to results
  • Must possess analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong project financial management skills
  • Ability to provide project status/metrics on deliverables or escalate issues to senior leaders and executives
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience with ServiceNow

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in project management, problem management, and incident management
  • Hands-on experience in Change Manager for handling and reviewing changes
  • Work experience on BMC Remedy tool
  • Hands-on working experience with JIRA tool
  • Understanding of Agile Scrum and Kanban processes
  • Experience with project management and test estimations

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates
  • Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
  • Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal
  • Promote and facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations
  • Gather and facilitate status updates for deliverables to stakeholders and leadership
  • Ensure execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor and stakeholders
  • Ensure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards
  • Guide projects through all phases, ensuring required standards and processes are followed
  • Develop and manage the project plan
  • Identify, assign, track, escalate, and resolve issues
  • Schedule and facilitate regular meetings to review progress and status
