About The Position

Project Manager Position Summary The Project Manager oversees and drives the successful execution of multiple projects from initiation through closeout. This role is responsible for leading project teams, executing standardized processes, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The role requires the individual is highly organized, detail-oriented, and a strong leader who can balance strategic oversight with hands-on project execution. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Execution Manage multiple projects simultaneously across departments Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables Develop and maintain detailed baseline schedules, deliverable tracking and action tracking. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with requirements Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies Monitor and control the progress of projects through the following stages: Planning Engineering and Integration Production and Implementation Installation and Commissioning Test and Trials Final Closeout Process Development & Continuous Improvement Utilize standardized project management processes, tools, and templates Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and quality Develop SOPs and ensure adherence across all projects Implement project tracking, reporting, and documentation best practices Stakeholder Communication Provide regular project status updates, including risks and performance metrics Ensure clear communication across cross-functional teams Budget & Financial Oversight Develop and manage project budgets and forecasts Monitor costs and ensure financial accountability Support billing, cost tracking, and profitability analysis as needed Compliance & Documentation Ensure all projects meet internal policies and external regulatory requirements Maintain accurate and organized project documentation Support audit readiness and contract compliance where applicable

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 7+years of project management experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar)

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification preferred
  • Background in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or technical environments
  • Familiarity with contract management and compliance standards
  • Shipboard integration experience preferred
