About The Position

Our growing Products Teams is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join in on an existing multi-level project that will impact many functional aspects of the bank! The Project Manager will be exposed to a wide variety of enterprise projects and will build on a strong working knowledge of banking to support and execute project management initiatives. This person will work closely with business sponsors, subject matter experts, IT professionals, and product owners to plan, coordinate, and execute projects that align with business goals, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, within budget and with excellent quality. The PM will also be responsible for managing project resources and timelines, facilitating communication, navigating change, and implementing strategies to mitigate risks.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in project management preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools (Jira, Confluence), methodologies, and best practices to track and maintain project success.
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Strong soft skills including communication, collaboration, critical observation, problem solving and leadership.
  • Ability to proactively keep teams moving forward.
  • Ability to set clear goals.
  • Requirements for gathering and business analysis skills.
  • Skilled at writing proposals, documentation, and project plans.
  • Good presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Can design/layout information so it’s easy to understand.
  • Ability to maintain focus on delivering an outcome, not output.
  • Professional appearance; grooming and dress consistent with Mascoma Bank appearance policy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of customer information.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Understands the scope of the project and what the bank is trying to accomplish.
  • Plan, initiate, document and drive project outcome using a blend of traditional and agile practices.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive PM process to ensure proper documentation and communication is adhered to by all stakeholders utilizing Jira and Confluence.
  • Drive teams and hold them accountable to deliver on timelines.
  • Understand and communicate critical pathing across project teams.
  • Identify and communicate dependencies between vendors, internal teams, processes, and procedures and effectively document and communicate dependencies.
  • Manage vendor and cross-functional team dependencies for product development and integrations to meet initiative objectives.
  • Keep teams focused on collaborative and efficient work across work groups ensuring that each team is working on the best next step.
  • Monitor progress and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.
  • Track project health, anticipate and intercept cross-functional blockers.
  • Lead the analysis of project blockers to determine root cause and ensure responsible parties are informed and act swiftly to resolve.
  • Manage development initiatives with vendors and service providers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables. Work to keep them on task and on time.
  • Work with and help teams make data-driven decisions.
  • Facilitate team meetings when appropriate.
  • Adheres to and upholds all written policies and procedures of Mascoma Bank, including BSA/CIP and OFAC monitoring and reporting, security, operation, and personnel policies.
