The Project Manager (Healthcare - Travel Required) is accountable for developing, maintaining, updating, distributing, and managing estimates, observing and monitoring the performance of the Superintendent, and overseeing change orders and the billing process. This individual will also be responsible for supervising subcontractor performance, ensuring the project meets quality and performance specifications and regulatory requirements, managing the start-up of the project, reviewing costs against estimates for each total project, and updating labor productivity reports. The role involves extensive knowledge of cost accounting/reporting systems to recognize and correct cost overruns and compensate for estimating mistakes, ensuring a smooth flow of financial information, and timely and accurate billing for positive cash flow. The Project Manager will monitor accounts receivable, contact clients or subcontractors for non-payment, and regularly study labor productivity reports and budget status to take corrective action. This role requires travel to Company and subsidiary offices, offsite client, subcontractor, and supplier meetings, and other locations across North America. The Project Manager must also maintain regular and reliable attendance.
