About The Position

The Project Manager will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of project plans, coordinating project activities, maintaining project documentation, and facilitating communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members. This role also involves serving as a Scrum Master, coaching the team in Agile/Scrum best practices, and tracking project metrics.

Requirements

  • Prior experience (4+ years) in project management or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong indirect influence capability.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and ceremonies.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of an internship in project management is a plus.
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.
  • Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of project plans, ensuring alignment with project goals and timeline.
  • Help coordinate project activities, meetings, and communication between team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting notes, and timelines. Provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Help facilitate communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure expectations are managed and met.
  • Ensure project metrics are met and team members adhere to industry project methodology best practices driving business value and accountability.
  • Serve as Scrum Master, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for the project team.
  • Track and communicate sprint metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to keep the team and stakeholders informed of progress.
  • Identify, track, and help remove impediments or blockers to keep the team productive and on schedule.
  • Coach and support the team in adopting and continuously improving Agile/Scrum best practices.
