About The Position

Ragle, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our DFW Heavy Highway Division. This role oversees large-scale roadway, highway, bridge, bridge maintenance, and airport projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience managing schedules, budgets, teams, and stakeholders on complex civil construction projects. Some travel to surrounding areas may be required.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction, including highways, bridges, bridge maintenance contracts, and airport projects
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
  • Proficiency in project controls, cost management, and scheduling (Primavera P6 required)
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management strongly preferred
  • 3–10 years of project management experience in heavy highway or civil infrastructure construction
  • Experience with DOT/TxDOT and airport projects strongly preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Spanish preferred, not required
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of heavy highway construction projects, including roadway, bridge, bridge maintenance, and airport work
  • Lead project teams to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met
  • Enforce safety policies and regulatory compliance across all job sites
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, including baseline and 3-week lookahead schedules
  • Track job costs, forecasts, and budgets; prepare and negotiate change orders
  • Coordinate with owners, inspectors, engineers, and internal stakeholders
  • Plan labor, equipment, and material needs, forecasting project requirements at least six months ahead
  • Ensure timely owner billings and prompt payment to subcontractors and vendors
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, contract requirements, and applicable regulations
  • Mentor and develop Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Interns
