About The Position
The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects, ensuring strict adherence to the Halker Project Delivery Process (PDP). This role involves client interaction for business development and relationship management, preparing proposals, and monitoring project work for compliance with codes and engineering practices. The Project Manager will also maintain project schedules, manage profitability, ensure compliance with budgets and billing requirements, and develop project execution plans with identified resource needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Ideally 8+ years of management experience in O&G or closely related industry
- Minimum of five years facility engineering experience
- Software experience including Microsoft Office and PDF Editor
- Advanced knowledge of Project Management principles and guidelines

Responsibilities
- Perform strict adherence to and champion the Halker Project Delivery Process (PDP) for every project assigned
- Overall responsibility for coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects
- Meet with clients to develop new business and maintain existing business relationships
- Responsible to ensure that all assigned personnel are coordinating their activities with other project participants and that the requirements of the contract are being satisfied
- Maintain the lead communicator position with client and manage client expectations
- Prepare proposals to obtain new project work from new and existing clients
- Monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, and accepted engineering practices
- Maintain a current project schedule that is updated weekly in conjunction with the project engineering discipline leads
- Assume full responsibility for profitability of assigned projects which includes the weekly review and approval of client invoices
- Ensure compliance with current budget, A/R, and billing requirements for each of their assigned Clients/projects
- Develop project execution plan and identify resource requirements
