About The Position

The Project Manager will oversee commercial construction projects from planning through completion, coordinating schedules, resources, subcontractors, materials, procurement, logistics, and site activities. The ideal candidate will have strong project management, expediting, logistics, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to established quality standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience with a commercial construction firm, general contractor, or similar organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience with expediting, including procurement, material delivery, and equipment coordination.
  • Strong logistics management skills, including material flow and site delivery coordination.
  • Commercial construction experience required.
  • Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office, scheduling platforms, and common construction tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with field and office teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with wall and ceiling construction or related trades preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, field teams, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Manage material procurement, expediting, deliveries, and site logistics.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project quality, compliance, productivity, and overall progress.
  • Conduct site inspections and identify potential issues, risks, and delays.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and provide regular progress updates.
  • Prepare project reports and support accurate billing and cost tracking.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project issues while supporting timely decision-making.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and applicable construction requirements.
  • Support successful project completion while maintaining high standards of productivity and workmanship.
