About The Position

The Project Manager, Barrier Segment will be responsible for all aspects of project management for the high security barrier segment. This position will coordinate and facilitate project follow up within the sales team including barrier market developers, Market developers, Sales project managers, barrier sales specialist, etc. The Project Manager will coordinate day-to-day project management aspects of multiple and/or large-scale projects. They will use company assets to track projects through all stages of the project life cycle including the warranty period. This role involves coordinating with the tech support and engineering team for any warranty, troubleshooting, and design requirements. The Project Manager will assist in the evaluation and design of project offerings and should possess a thorough understanding of company service offerings, technical preferences, and technical direction. They will serve as a key participant in team and client meetings with the ability to confront issues openly and quickly, as well as effectively communicate relevant project information. This role challenges others to develop as leaders while clarifying roles and responsibilities, and pursues excellence in all aspects of business. The Project Manager will need to build knowledge in the industry and share knowledge with others. They will participate in NPD and CPI projects as needed with the engineering team, and ad hoc process improvement projects as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred.
Basic understanding of accounting and project management concepts.
Thorough understanding of research methodology, data analysis and estimation metrics.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
MS Office Proficient
Great attention to detail
Must be organized and reliable
