About The Position

RH White is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major construction projects across New England. This role involves overseeing projects ranging from $3.5 million to $10 million, contributing to approximately $10 million in annual revenue. The Project Manager will work closely with field leadership, customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are on track, financially sound, and delivered successfully. As a fourth-generation, family-owned construction company with over 100 years of experience, RH White emphasizes safety, teamwork, and employee impact.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in construction, finance, and management.
  • A Construction Supervisor License (CSL), Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or similar license or certification.
  • Working knowledge of structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and building construction practices.
  • Experience with project scheduling and management software, such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate employees, subcontractors, consultants, and field teams.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and make independent decisions.
  • OSHA 30 Construction certification, or the ability to obtain it through company-provided online training before employment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
  • A valid, unrestricted driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout for both Design-Build and Bid-Build projects.
  • Manage budgets, contracts, purchasing, equipment rentals, expenses, and change orders to protect profitability and meet project goals.
  • Lead and support Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and other team members while helping allocate resources effectively.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other project partners.
  • Monitor schedules, costs, and field activities, identify challenges, and implement solutions to keep work on time and within budget.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture, ensure compliance with company policies, and address potential risks.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, business development, resource management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Represent RH White at project and strategy meetings while maintaining clear communication, accurate reporting, and strong working relationships.
