About The Position

The Project Manager Trainee is responsible for developing the technical, project management, and solutions development skills necessary to support the identification, development, and execution of customer capital projects. This role participates in a structured trainee program designed to build future project management and solutions development capability within the Rensenhouse Projects Team. The Project Trainee works alongside Project Managers, Sales Professionals, Manufacturers, Vendors, and Subject Matter Experts to learn how customer opportunities are identified, developed, documented, proposed, and supported through execution. The core focus of this role is learning the opportunity development portion of the project lifecycle while building the technical, commercial, customer-facing, and organizational skills required for future project management and solutions development responsibilities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn company software platforms
Current, valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship)

Responsibilities

Learning all aspects of the CED business
Attending classes online as well as in-person at various locations
On the job training and mentoring from senior project managers and leadership
Establish, develop, and maintain relationships and rapport with customers and vendors
