Surgical Services encompasses the multidisciplinary teams and operations that support the full perioperative continuum, including pre-operative preparation, operating room (OR) care, post-anesthesia recovery (PACU), sterile processing (CSPD), and surgical/procedural support services. This department partners closely with surgeons, anesthesia, nursing, and support teams to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care. Within Surgical Services, the Project Manager will play a critical role in advancing strategic and operational initiatives that improve access, efficiency, and care delivery across the perioperative environment. This includes leading and coordinating projects related to OR optimization, surgical scheduling and throughput, clinical workflow improvements, implementation of new technologies and surgical innovation, and capital or infrastructure efforts impacting surgical spaces. The Project Manager will work in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment—engaging clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders—to ensure projects are effectively executed from planning through implementation. Success in this role requires the ability to translate complex perioperative needs into structured project plans, drive alignment across teams, and deliver measurable improvements in surgical performance, patient experience, and resource utilization.
