About The Position

Starbucks is seeking a Project Manager – Continuous Improvement (CI) to manage projects and drive improvements in efficiency, service, and cost within their contact center and distribution network. This role involves shaping operational processes and collaborating across teams to evolve them from good to great. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, continuous improvement, or operations transformation.
  • Proven experience delivering measurable results in contact center, supply chain, or distribution environments.
  • Strong expertise in CI methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Proficiency in project management frameworks, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications preferred, such as PMP, CSM or PMI-ACP, Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of CI initiatives for Starbucks’ Logistics Solutions and Distributions teams.
  • Manage a portfolio of improvement projects across Logistics Solutions and Distribution Operations.
  • Establish and maintain project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication cadence.
  • Drive disciplined execution using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute CI opportunities (process, cost, service, productivity).
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops (value stream mapping, root cause analysis, solution design).
  • Ensure sustainability of improvements through standard work and performance tracking.
  • Improve efficiency, service levels, and agent experience in contact centers.
  • Streamline case resolution workflows, reduce rework, and enhance customer journey touchpoints.
  • Drive improvements in cost, accuracy, and service performance in the distribution network.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, transportation, and coffeehouse operations teams.
  • Drive adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Support communication, training, and transition into steady-state operations.
  • Ensure alignment across teams to sustain change.
