About The Position

Dewberry is seeking a Project Manager/Stormwater Design Engineer for their Charlotte or Raleigh, NC office. Typical projects include hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater mitigation, stormwater design, storm water master plans, mitigation planning, surface water assessment, and storm water quality for federal, state, and local clients. The Project Manager will also be involved in proposal development, lead business development efforts, present at conferences, participate in professional organizations, and have opportunities for national growth. Requirements

  • B.S. or MS Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering (or related engineering field), with emphasis in water resources.
  • 5+ years’ water resources-related experience.
  • Ability to develop strong client relationships in a Project Manager role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of hydrology and open channel hydraulics.
  • Knowledge/experience with ESRI Arc GIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, AutoCAD.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic MS Office software.
  • Team player.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with flood studies and CLOMR/LOMRs.
  • P.E. certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects involving hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater mitigation, stormwater design, storm water master plans, mitigation planning, surface water assessment, and storm water quality.
  • Develop proposals.
