Project Manager - Solar & Storage

About The Position

This Senior Project Manager role owns projects end to end, from contract signature through construction to handover, across solar PV, battery storage and EV charging on the same portfolio. If you want your next role to stretch further than the last one, this is the shape of that. You'll run the full project lifecycle: budgets, schedules, permitting, utility and township coordination, incentive management, and contractor negotiation. You're the one managing field operations, subcontractors and equipment deliveries, running QA/QC and safety inspections on active sites, and staying close to clients from award through to the operations team taking over. You'll also have real input on how the business runs, not just how your own projects run. Feedback on installation practices and company protocol is genuinely used here, not filed away. This is a hybrid role, based out of either San Diego or Los Angeles, whichever suits you. The company is backed by one of the world's largest renewable energy groups, so you get the scale and stability of a major platform without losing the pace of a specialist team. It's also built its own proprietary software to monitor and optimize client energy systems after installation, so the projects you deliver keep performing long after your part is done. Worth knowing upfront: it's three days a week in the office and two from home, with project-based site visits expected on top. If you're looking to trade full-time field life for more ownership and less time on your feet, that's the trade this role offers.
