About The Position

We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented Project Manager-Social to support the social media team in managing workflows, tracking deliverables, and ensuring projects move smoothly from kickoff to final delivery. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves keeping teams aligned, and has a passion for social-first creative.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in project management, marketing, social media, or a related field—agency experience is a plus but not required.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong communicator who can keep teams aligned and informed.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
  • Proactive problem-solver who isn’t afraid to ask questions or jump in to help.
  • Passionate about social media, content creation, and creative processes.
  • Based in either our NY or Detroit office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the master project tracker for the social team, ensuring all tasks, owners, and deadlines are up to date and clearly communicated.
  • Own day-to-day project timelines—including updates, adjustments, and reminders—to keep all workstreams on track.
  • Coordinate closely with the creative team, social strategists, and producers to ensure smooth project progression and efficient workflow.
  • Manage internal and client-facing status documents, ensuring they are accurate, clear, and consistently updated.
  • Lead daily communication across the social team, sharing next steps, gathering updates, and surfacing blockers when needed.
  • Support meeting preparation including agendas, recaps, and action items.
  • Manage all social content routing across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate reviews with legal, product, brand, and other required partners, ensuring feedback is consolidated, delivered on time, and properly incorporated.
  • Track approval progress and keep teams informed of status and deadlines.
  • Track, organize, and store final approved assets within designated asset management systems, ensuring proper version control, accessibility, and long-term usability across teams and channels.
