About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager/Site Lead to oversee our operations in Midland, Georgia. This full-time role involves leading and managing all onsite personnel, serving as the primary point of contact for team needs, performance, and development. The position requires overseeing onboarding, training, and ramp-up activities, monitoring daily operations, and applying manufacturing engineering insight to guide the team through technical challenges. A key aspect of this role is fostering a positive, safety-focused culture and acting as the onsite liaison between our organization and the customer's engineering, operations, and leadership teams. The Project Manager/Site Lead will build strong relationships with customer stakeholders, translate technical needs into clear actions, and manage project activities in alignment with scope, schedule, and quality requirements. This role also involves supporting root cause analysis, process improvements, and technical problem-solving, tracking progress, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. Resource allocation, timelines, and priorities will be managed to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 year(s) of relevant experience
  • Experience working in manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, or similar environments
  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience overseeing technical or manufacturing teams, with strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate/guide diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication, relationship building, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing customer needs.
  • Direct experience with project management in an engineering environment and proficiency with related tools and reporting systems
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact effectively across disciplines and organizational levels
  • Ability to proactively take action to drive on-time results
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Background in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Experience supporting production lines, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, or working with engineering change processes.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement tools.
  • PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar certifications.
  • Prior experience supporting or working within aerospace manufacturing.
  • An understanding of engineering outsourcing business practices

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all onsite personnel, serving as the primary point of contact for team needs, performance, and development.
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and ramp up activities to ensure new team members are fully prepared and integrated.
  • Monitor daily operations, staffing levels, and workflow to maintain productivity and meet customer expectations.
  • Apply manufacturing engineering insight to guide the team through technical challenges, process changes, and production requirements.
  • Foster a positive, safety focused culture aligned with both company and customer standards.
  • Act as the onsite liaison between our organization and the customer's engineering, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with customer stakeholders, especially within manufacturing engineering, quality, and production groups.
  • Translate technical needs and requirements into clear actions for the onsite team.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute project activities in alignment with scope, schedule, and quality requirements, and clearly communicate status, risks, and opportunities proactively.
  • Use manufacturing engineering knowledge to support root cause analysis, process improvements, and technical problem solving.
  • Track progress, deliverables, and KPIs; prepare regular reports for internal and customer leadership.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement initiatives using structured methodologies.
  • Manage resource allocation, timelines, and priorities to ensure successful project outcomes.
