About The Position
Accenture Flex is offering a fixed-duration, project-based role supporting client business transformation. The position serves as Scrum Master for a software development team, enabling effective team performance through Agile methodologies. The employee will work onsite at a client location in Plano, Texas for 60% of the time and will have client-mandated time away five days per quarter. Accenture Flex employees work in their local metro area onsite at the project, significantly reducing or eliminating travel demands. The Scrum Master coaches and mentors the Scrum Team, removes obstacles, and facilitates Agile ceremonies. The role tracks progress using appropriate metrics, supports continuous improvement, helps the team adapt to change, and coordinates alignment between stakeholders and the development team. The position requires collaboration across multiple teams and accountability for team decisions and solutions. This is a fixed-duration project-based opportunity. Requirements
- At least 5 years of total IT experience.
- At least 3 years of cross-functional project management experience.
- At least 3 years facilitating project defect triages.
- Expert proficiency in Agile Project Management.
- Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor the Scrum Team and remove obstacles to support smooth progress.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify and report progress using appropriate metrics.
- Manage and collaborate with the team to support effective performance, take responsibility for team decisions, and contribute to key decisions and solutions within and across teams.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices within the team and across projects.
- Support team members in overcoming challenges and encourage open communication and collaboration.
- Analyze project metrics to provide insights that improve team performance and delivery quality.
- Facilitate alignment between stakeholders and the development team on goals and priorities.
- Promote an environment that embraces change and adapts Agile processes to evolving project needs.
