About The Position

The Project Manager will create and manage a comprehensive product roadmap for the global E2E organization, encompassing core algorithm teams, infrastructure, and tooling teams. This role involves overseeing execution, ensuring timelines are met, mitigating slips, and escalating issues early. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, marketing, sales) to define product requirements and track execution. They will partner with the Product organization to develop and execute project plans, align product roadmaps with program objectives, and ensure successful program delivery. A key aspect is to introduce and standardize development processes for consistency and efficiency across all AI/ML projects, defining and tracking KPIs for continuous improvement. The position requires providing strategic recommendations to leadership through impact assessments, risk analysis, and investment proposals. The Project Manager will also be responsible for the project’s interests in North America, ensuring alignment with global teams (EU and China), including resource planning, demo execution, and resource allocation. They will drive horizontal alignment of multiple projects to enhance Aptiv’s cross-platform integration and provide on-site support for high-visibility demo activities.

Requirements

Strong and proven background in Engineering or Computer Science with a focus on AI/ML.
Proven experience (2+ years) in project management or product management.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a deep tech/data role within the automotive/robotics/aerospace industry, specifically with ADAS or related technologies.
Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams covering all competencies from engineering to sales.
Extensive experience in the automotive industry and automotive development processes (Product Development Process / ASPICE) incl. KPI based software quality tracking.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Create and manage a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key initiatives, timelines, and milestones of the global E2E organization, including the core algorithm teams as well as the infrastructure and tooling teams.
Oversee the execution, ensure all timelines stay aligned, mitigate slips, and escalate early.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, marketing, sales) to define product requirements and follow up on the execution.
Partner with the Product organization to develop and execute project plans, coordinate alignment of product roadmap with program objectives, and ensure successful program delivery.
Introduce and standardize development processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across all AI/ML projects.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of AI/ML initiatives and guide continuous improvement.
Provide strategic recommendations to leadership through impact assessments, risk analysis, and investment proposals.
Assume responsibility for the project’s interests in North America and the alignment with the rest of the world (EU and China). This includes resource planning, demo execution, and resource allocation.
Drive horizontal alignment of multiple projects to improve Aptiv’s cross-platform integration.
Provide on-site support for the preparation work of high-visibility demo activities.
