About The Position

SV Design is seeking a personable, motivated, and highly organized Project Manager to join their team. In this role, the Project Manager will serve as the primary liaison for clients and take full responsibility for quality, coordination, and team management. This role involves managing a schedule, mentoring junior designers, and ensuring that award-winning design translates into the built environment.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of professional architecture experience.
• Strong understanding of unique residential construction methods.
• AutoCAD proficiency.
• Professional degree from a U.S. accredited architecture program.
• Proven expertise in building detailing, construction documentation, and navigating complex zoning/building codes.
• Full-time, in-office position based in Winchester, MA.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects through all phases, from initial concept to construction completion.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and consultants, ensuring fully integrated and coordinated project documentation.
• Oversee AutoCAD-based (residential) design development.
• Review architectural details for technical accuracy and constructability.
• Participate in site visits, manage RFIs/submittals, and serve as the owner's representative during construction.
• Guide and mentor junior staff (AD1/AD2 levels), fostering an environment of technical excellence and constant learning.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and compliance with building codes and zoning standards.
