The Survivability Discipline Group (SDG) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to support key military programs. Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • 2 years of experience or an Advanced Degree
  • Experience in project engineering or project management
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Completed EV/CAM training
  • Familiarization with modern day gas turbine engines
  • Experience creating technical documentation (reports/presentations) and presenting technical information
  • Collaborates effectively with other team members, stakeholders, and management
  • Project Management Planning certification

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving execution of projects including support of new contract proposals, project baselining, earned value management, and delivering within cost and schedule expectations
  • Collaborate across several technical disciplines within SDG
  • Support team deliverables and projects across engineering and test facilities in East Hartford, CT, Middletown, CT, and West Palm Beach, FL
  • Depending on background, candidate will support technical work/projects in one or more SDG disciplines
