About The Position

The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Full-time Research Project Manager position. The full-time Research Project Manager will work in the Cannabis Research Laboratory on several ongoing and upcoming NIDA-funded clinical trials. This individual must have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational skills, attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to work without continuous supervision are critical components of this position. Flexible work schedule (occasional evenings and weekends) is needed. Must be meticulous in carrying out research protocols and enjoy working with human research participants. Must have experience with various software programs (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, REDcap). The hours for this position are as follows: Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 5:00pm; occasional evenings (3:30-11:30pm) and weekends (daytime/evening) anticipated approximately 1-2x per month. - Flexible availability required (position includes occasional evening and weekend shifts)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and (3) years of relevant experience working on large federal-grant or industry-sponsored studies.
  • (2) years of experience in behavioral science research required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to work without continuous supervision.
  • Meticulous in carrying out research protocols.
  • Enjoy working with human research participants.
  • Experience with various software programs (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, REDcap).

Nice To Haves

  • At least (3) years of experience with behavioral science and human subject research.
  • At least (2) years of experience with data entry, database use, and research experience.
  • At least (2) years of experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and REDCap.

Responsibilities

  • This Research Project Manager will work with investigators on NIH-funded clinical trials related to cannabis use in human volunteers.
  • The position involves implementing research projects, including but not limited to protocol development, coordination and maintenance of IRB submissions, participating in project meetings, managing study oversight and regulatory documentation, and providing training and supervision of research assistants.
