About The Position

GenScript is seeking a Project Manager for their Protein Expression Services team. This role is responsible for evaluating project strategies, preparing service proposals, coordinating research teams, providing client updates, and collaborating with commercial and production teams to ensure timely project completion. The Project Manager will also provide technical support for business development and contribute to the optimization of the service platform by understanding market needs and competitor offerings.

Requirements

• At least an MS degree in a life sciences discipline with over 2 years of protein science experience.
• Strong customer service awareness.
• Strong sense of responsibility.
• Good communication and coordination ability.
• Strong execution ability.
• Solid protein-related technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience.
• Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.
• Capacity to manage high-stress situations.
• Adaptive to a bilingual working environment (English and Mandarin Chinese).

Nice To Haves

• PhD degree is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate project strategy and prepare service proposals based on client requests and scientific judgment.
• Coordinate all teams to facilitate research work.
• Provide regular feedback and updates to clients on project progress and troubleshooting, especially for key accounts.
• Work collaboratively with the commercial and production teams to ensure projects are finished on time.
• Provide support to develop business from a technical perspective.
• Help to improve the service platform by understanding market needs and competitors, and optimizing service packages and platform technology.
