About The Position

Snif is hiring a Project Manager, Product Commercialization to own the execution of new products from project kickoff through production and launch. The role turns the product roadmap into clear, well-managed plans and serves as the operational hub for new product development. It maintains master milestones, drives accountability across Product Development, Operations, Retail, Brand, and Creative, identifies risks early, and keeps projects moving when timelines or priorities change. The role also helps strengthen the company’s product development and launch processes as Snif scales. It reports directly to the VP of Product. Snif operates as a remote team, and the role may require approximately 10% travel depending on business needs.

Requirements

4–7 years of experience in commercialization, project management, or product operations.
Proven track record managing multiple concurrent launches against fixed retail dates.
Strong familiarity with beauty and/or home scent development, including formula, component, tooling, artwork, testing, and production.
Strong vendor management skills and comfort negotiating timelines.
Fluency in PLM/ERP systems and project management tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, or Monday.
Highly organized, calm under pressure, and able to drive accountability across teams without direct authority.
Ability to break complex problems or processes down to fundamentals and execute thoughtfully and efficiently.
Analytical and imaginative mindset, with the ability to translate data into practical outcomes and goals.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills that foster trusting relationships.
Openness to direct communication and feedback, and ability to lead with kindness and positivity.
Self-starter and team player with strength and rigor in navigating ambiguity.
Curiosity and innovation, with an ongoing interest in improving products and processes.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain master development milestones for new launches from kickoff through the first production run.
Build and manage individual project timelines working backward from launch and retailer in-store dates.
Run the stage-gate process, ensure teams meet gate deliverables, and flag at-risk gates.
Identify critical path items early and develop contingency plans to prevent timeline slippage.
Lead weekly cross-functional commercialization meetings, review programs, and surface outstanding milestones.
Partner with Product Development, Operations, Retail, Brand, and Creative to keep projects on track.
Follow up to unblock stalled workstreams and re-sequence work when dates change.
Escalate development risks and decisions to the leadership team and CEO with clear recommendations.
Work with formula, component, and packaging vendors to build and validate development timelines.
Manage packaging vendors for new tooling development, tooling trials, and component lead times.
Track MOQs, lead times, and capacity constraints and incorporate them into launch feasibility and timelines.
Manage timelines for stability, compatibility, PET, and safety assessment testing, keeping testing on the critical path.
Track retailer new-item submission deadlines and line review calendars, and plan backward from those dates.
Run post-launch retrospectives and incorporate lessons learned into the development process.
