Under direct supervision, the Project Manager is responsible to function independently to carry out the Washoe Tribe Youth Corps (WTYC) Program and is accountable for all aspects of the assigned projects or program areas not requiring professional licensure as an architect or engineer. The Project Manager may provide work direction to the Youth Corps Program, contractors, project coordinators, operators, laborers, other staff, as projects requires. Planning, supervising, and otherwise implementing field activities, preparing daily and weekly project schedules, preparing and managing budgets, coordinating program development and implementation with Tribal and Community leaders, Tribal departments and Federal and State agencies, and maintaining confidentiality of all privileged information. California Governor Newsom’s Tribal Nature-Based Solutions Conservation Corps through the California Conservation Corps (CCC) a multi-year state grant fund this position.
