About The Position

Overwatch Mission Critical is seeking a Civil (PM) Project Manager for a ground-up construction project with a heavy focus on mission-critical systems, including MEP and low-voltage/telecom infrastructure. The campus is being built to support high-density, high-availability operations, with significant coordination around power delivery, redundancy, and long-term scalability. This role involves managing the civil and structural scope across a multi-phase data center campus, overseeing site development, coordinating structural construction, and partnering with General Contractors and subcontractors. The position requires developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and cost controls, as well as managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders. The Project Manager will lead coordination meetings, provide progress updates, and ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and quality requirements. Support for preconstruction planning, constructability reviews, and value engineering is also expected. The role offers high visibility and the opportunity to work on a large-scale, multi-billion-dollar project with long-term growth potential within a leading global data center platform.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of construction or project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing civil and/or structural scope on large-scale projects.
  • Experience working directly with General Contractors (REQUIRED).
  • Strong background in ground-up construction and site development.
  • Solid understanding of civil infrastructure (grading, utilities, drainage).
  • Solid understanding of structural systems (foundations, concrete, steel).
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and project documentation.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and trades.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a professional work environment, including preparing written reports and documentation, conveying information clearly to team members, clients, and stakeholders, and responding appropriately to verbal and written communications related to job duties.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license appropriate for the role and be eligible to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with applicable laws (for roles requiring on-site presence or travel between work locations).

  • Experience with data center or mission-critical projects.
  • Background in large-scale industrial or infrastructure developments.
  • Experience supporting multi-phase campus-style developments.
  • Familiarity with Southwest / New Mexico construction environment.
  • PE, PMP, or CCM certification.
