Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline with twelve (12) to fifteen (15) years of progressive responsible pipeline project experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing major pipeline construction projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale, complex infrastructure projects from planning through execution.
  • Experience interacting with regulatory agencies, including the BLM.
  • English language fluency, verbal and written.
  • Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (P.E. or P.Eng.) designation.
  • Experience delivering large-scale capital projects exceeding $500 million.
  • Joint venture project experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams and provide overall project leadership from planning through commissioning.
  • Develop and execute project strategies, construction plans, and delivery approaches.
  • Manage full project lifecycle from detailed engineering through construction, commissioning, and operations handoff.
  • Coordinate cross-functional interfaces including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations.
  • Direct complex construction activities including large-diameter pipelines, pump and valve stations, HDD, Direct Pipe, micro tunneling, water crossings, steep slopes, and facility tie-ins.
  • Administer EPC/EPCM and construction contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and project objectives.
  • Evaluate and manage change orders, contractor claims, performance, and commercial risks.
  • Support earned value management (EVM) processes and provide executive-level reporting and insights.
