About The Position

This full-time position is for a Project Manager in Pediatric Clinical Research at Atrium Health CMC. The role involves managing assigned projects and key deliverables, serving as the primary liaison between project stakeholders, and communicating project status, issues, and timelines. The Project Manager will plan, organize, and manage all aspects of retrospective, outcome, and prospective projects, including organizing and leading team training efforts. They will consult with staff and leaders to coordinate training, monitor efforts, and discuss findings. The role also includes leading and managing cross-functional departments to ensure project activities align with milestones, timelines, and ethical business practices, as well as maintaining communication regarding project outcomes, opportunities, and barriers. Financial management of projects is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience required.
  • Clinical research experience (required).
  • REDCap, EPIC, various research database exposure, or similar experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the assigned project and key deliverables.
  • Primary liaison between the project stakeholders.
  • Communicates on-going project status, potential issues, and timelines as required.
  • Plans, organizes, and manages all aspects of assigned retrospective, outcome, and prospective projects.
  • Organizes and leads necessary team training efforts for all facets of the project.
  • Consults with staff/leaders to coordinate training and monitor efforts, as well as discuss noted findings.
  • Leads and manages the efforts of all key cross-functional departments to perform all project-related activities according to project milestones/timelines in a manner consistent with the applicable process, regulatory and accrediting entities, and ethical business practice.
  • Maintains communication as required, to discuss the outcome of any identified opportunities and/or barriers to the successful completion of the project.
  • Manages project financials.
