About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Operations Project Manager to lead key operational improvement initiatives within our car recycling business. The Project Manager will oversee projects related to process optimization, technology implementation, and cross-functional coordination. This role requires strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of business processes in automotive recycling/salvage operations, and the ability to manage stakeholders across Operations, IT, Sales, and Finance. The ideal candidate excels at turning business needs into executable plans, tracking project performance, and delivering solutions that improve efficiency, customer experience, and data accuracy.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Operations, or a related field
  • 4 –7 years of project management experience
  • Proven track record of delivering digital and system-related projects, including software, CRM/ERP, mobile applications, and workflow automation.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes such as vehicle purchasing, dismantling, inventory management, and used parts sales.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual in English and French.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or an equivalent project management certification
  • Experience in automotive recycling, logistics, warehousing, or retail

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Plan and deliver multiple projects end-to-end in parallel.
  • Analyze and optimize operational processes (vehicle purchasing, dismantling, warehousing, sales, logistics).
  • Lead the deployment and integration of digital tools and operational systems aligned with business needs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, Finance, Purchasing, Inventory, Marketing) and external vendors.
  • Own change management, user adoption, training, and documentation.
  • Manage risks, testing, quality control, and go-live readiness.
  • Track KPIs, prepare status reports, and present updates to senior leadership.
  • Ensure clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
