About The Position

At Spruce Power, we are focused on delivering a seamless customer experience while scaling a complex, service-driven business. We are looking for a Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and follow-through to operational priorities. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, action-oriented, and comfortable working across teams to move initiatives forward. You will partner closely with Operations leaders to drive projects that improve how we serve customers and run our day-to-day business, with occasional coordination across supporting teams such as Finance, Legal, and Technology. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Operations, this position plays a key role in ensuring priorities are clearly defined, well-coordinated, and successfully executed.

Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in project coordination, operations, or a similar role
  • Strong organizational and execution skills; consistently drives follow-through and meets commitments across multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to follow through and drive work to completion
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities
  • Ability to use data to drive insights, influence decisions, and measure the impact of operational changes
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including running structured meetings and delivering concise written and verbal updates
  • Experience with project and work management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, or similar) and comfortable learning new systems in a fully cloud-based environment
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g., lookups, pivots, basic modeling) and solid PowerPoint or equivalent presentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • PMP Certification is a plus but not required
  • Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.) or operational systems is helpful but not required
  • Familiarity with SiteTracker is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day execution of operational projects from kickoff through completion
  • Translate goals into clear plans, timelines, and next steps
  • Track progress, follow up on action items, and ensure deadlines are met
  • Identify risks early and help keep projects on track
  • Work closely with Operations, Finance, Legal, and other internal partners
  • Ensure alignment on priorities, roles, and deliverables
  • Facilitate meetings and keep stakeholders informed with clear updates
  • Help remove roadblocks and keep momentum moving
  • Partner with Operations leaders to define problem statements, success metrics, and implementation plans for process and system changes
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, coordination, and efficiency
  • Assist in documenting processes and supporting implementation of changes
  • Help ensure new processes are adopted and sustained by the team
  • Contribute to communication and change management efforts
  • Analyze operational data to inform project planning, prioritization, and execution
  • Build clear, structured views of project progress and operational metrics
  • Create simple dashboards or visualizations to support stakeholder alignment
  • Highlight trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support initiatives across customer experience, field operations, and billing workflows
  • Help bring structure and consistency to how work gets done
  • Contribute to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
