About The Position

The Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) is an international research institution and museum founded on the conviction that architecture is a public concern. We produce exhibitions and publications, develop and share our collection, advance research, offer public programs, and host a wide range of activities that explore how architecture shapes—and could reshape—contemporary life. Founded in 1979 by Phyllis Lambert as a new type of cultural institution, and currently led by Giovanna Borasi, the CCA is based in Montréal but operates globally through collaborations, partnerships, and off-site initiatives. The CCA’s organizational structure is centered around three areas: Operations, Curatorial, and Advancement and Engagement, fostering collaboration and strategic focus. The Advancement and Communications functions are closely aligned to ensure coordinated outreach, visibility, and public support. CCA Operations: Bringing together the People and Culture, Finance, Buildings and Grounds, Security, Information Systems, and Digital Media sectors, CCA Operations play a key role in supporting the institution’s mission and ensuring its smooth functioning. Rooted in a collaborative, cross-functional, and trust-based culture, they ensure that day-to-day activities are aligned with CCA’s overall strategy and objectives. Operations focus on four key pillars: improving operational efficiency, ensuring quality and compliance, managing risk, and promoting sustainability. The Project Manager, Operational Affairs supports the delivery of institutional priorities by coordinating cross-functional projects and initiatives across the Operations division. The role contributes to a broad range of activities related to operations, employee experience, compliance, information management, and continuous improvement.
