About The Position
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee complex lifting, rigging, and heavy transport projects from planning through execution.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in machinery moving/millwright services
- Strong computer skills-Microsoft product
- Team player
- On job experience with millwright projects
Nice To Haves
- Project Management/Sales experience a plus. Preferably 2+ years as well.
Responsibilities
- Develop lift plans, schedules, and work scopes for crane and rigging operations.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, and logistics to ensure safe and efficient execution.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Provide updates, manage expectations, and resolve issues.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
- Review lift plans, conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs), and ensure all operations meet regulatory and site-specific requirements.
- Estimate project costs, track expenses, and manage budgets.
- Approve invoices, monitor profitability, and adjust plans as needed.
- Coordinate crane operators, riggers, trucking, and specialized equipment.
- Ensure proper allocation and minimize downtime.
- Maintain project records, including permits, lift drawings, inspection logs, and daily reports.
