About The Position

As our next Millwright, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. Your expertise in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial maintenance will be essential in supporting production uptime and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Welding experience and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • College diploma, trade school certification, or equivalent technical training preferred
  • Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments
  • Millwright certification or apprenticeship training
  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Experience mentoring apprentices or junior maintenance personnel
  • Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience

Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
  • Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Operate lifting and hoisting equipment to position machinery and components during installation and repair
  • Diagnose equipment failures and perform corrective maintenance activities
  • Replace, adjust, and repair defective machine components
  • Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate replacement parts and components
  • Perform routine maintenance activities including lubrication, cleaning, and inspections
  • Assist with machinery assembly, installation, and commissioning activities
  • Construct and support machinery foundations as required
  • Utilize welding equipment and hand tools to complete maintenance tasks
  • Train new employees and apprentices on maintenance procedures and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety requirements
  • Support continuous improvement activities to enhance equipment performance and reliability
