Project Manager - MES
About The Position
We are seeking a Project Manager for Project Management services for an MES Project. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and at least 8 years of experience in Pharma, specifically managing automation, MES, or system implementation/upgrade projects. Bilingual in Spanish and English is required for effective communication. This role involves leading technical meetings, coordinating integration windows, developing C&Q RFPs, managing software integration and migration, overseeing C&Q implementation, and maintaining various project logs and processes. The candidate should also be adept at developing cash flow and integrated project schedules. We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, a proactive and innovative mindset, and a commitment to delivering top-quality results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- At least 8 years of experience in Pharma
- Experience managing automation, MES, or system implementation/upgrade projects
- Bilingual, Spanish and English (good communications)
- Experience leading technical meetings with stakeholders and Syncade software developers
- Experience coordinating integration windows with impacted areas and supply chain
- Experience with C&Q RFP Development
- Experience managing software integration & migration
- Experience managing C&Q implementation
- Experience managing RFI, submittal, & change orders logs
- Experience managing change control process
- Experience developing and updating cash flow
- Experience developing & updating integrated project schedule
Responsibilities
- Lead the upgrade of the Syncade MES platform.
- Manage software integration, migration, and implementation.
- Lead technical meetings.
- Coordinate system integration windows with manufacturing areas to minimize operational impact.
- Develop and manage C&Q RFPs and oversee execution of commissioning and qualification activities.
- Manage C&Q implementation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee and maintain RFI, submittals, and change orders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (IT, Automation, Manufacturing, QA, Validation, Supply Chain).
- Identify and mitigate risks related to schedule, cost, quality, and compliance.
- Provide status updates and reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
- Support project closeout, documentation, and systems handover.
