About The Position
Wallace Montgomery, a Mid-Atlantic engineering firm serving transportation, institutional, and industrial markets, is seeking experienced mechanical engineers across multiple disciplines to support the planning, design, and execution of complex facility projects. The team works collaboratively from early concept development through construction and commissioning. The position is based at the Newark Office in Newark, Delaware, with a listed salary range of $69.00–$80.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- PE License in Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey, or the ability to obtain reciprocity.
- Knowledge of ASHRAE, IMC, IPC, NFPA, and local building codes.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Experience as an experienced mechanical engineer.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with energy efficiency and sustainability strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design HVAC, plumbing, compressed air, process piping, and thermal systems for industrial and commercial facilities.
- Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and system layouts.
- Support the planning, design, and execution of complex facility projects from concept development through construction and commissioning.
