  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in special foundations/geotechnical foundations and civil and concrete work experience.
  • Experience at least 1 major project over $20M
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor an employment Visa at this time.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, manage, and plan complex civil engineering projects.
  • Lead the project delivery team in achieving project goals and objectives through managing resources, identify and mitigating risk, and facilitating project solutions including the project scope, schedule, and budget from pre-construction through construction and project close-out.
  • Oversee a team of Engineers, Superintendents, and field personnel to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
  • Delegate work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
  • Develop project scope, goals, and deliverables to ensure project completion.
  • Lead an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Outline the tasks involved in the project and delegate accordingly.
  • Conduct cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
  • Prepare and implement a budget based on estimates.
  • Conduct risk assessments; report identified risks to management; provide recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
  • Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Act as a liaison between company, clients, contractors, and vendors.
  • Manage and supervise consultants, contractors, and other subject matter experts in the preparation of planning and construction documents, and in the implementation of the project.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management, elected officials and their staff, stakeholders, and other public agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
